You Can Be You, You Can Make A Difference and You Can Grow with Us
Nielsen is a global measurement and data analytics company that provides the most complete and trusted view available of consumers and markets worldwide. Their approach marries proprietary Nielsen data with other data sources to help clients around the world understand what’s happening now, what’s happening next, and how to best act on this knowledge.
Nielsen’s Pacific team is partnering with FlexCareers to offer you roles with flexible working options. If you love data and improving market efficiency, Nielsen is the employer for you.
Why work at Nielsen?
Nielsen’s workplace culture is built on diversity. Diversity takes on a broader definition in the company, extending it to thought, processes, experiences, skills and culture. Employees are valued and encouraged to share their thoughts, opinions and insights.
When you join Nielsen, you enter an inspiring work environment designed to help you grow. Nielsen’s workplace culture centres around three things to make sure their employees feel included and have a sense of belonging: You Can Be You, You Can Make A Difference and You Can Grow with Us. Three pillars that makeup Nielsen’s Belonging@Nielsen strategy to ensure their workplace is both diverse and inclusive.
What does flexibility look like?
Working flexibility is one of the many initiatives Nielsen offer to promote inclusion within the company, leadership and teams. The company understands people have different needs during different stages of their lives. This means the importance of your work/life balance is recognised regardless of your lifestyle:
· Remote working policy – a flexible place and time to work that is beneficial to their employees and the company.
· Employee Assistance Policy – a 24/7 professional and confidential counselling service for staff and their immediate family. It is a program designed to assist employees to deal with work and/or personal issues that impact them throughout their life. The program not only offers help for personal issues but extends to employees’ general sense of well-being and work performance/changes in work arrangements. Imagine being part of a company that extends help not only to you but to your partners, children, grandparents and siblings.
· Paid Parental leave – a policy that understands spending time with family is important and helps employees find the balance between work and family commitments. This includes primary carers of a newborn or adopted child are entitled to 12 weeks paid parental leave.
Other employee benefits include Annual leave, Carer’s leave, and Birthday leave (an extra day to celebrate your birthday sounds pretty good!).
What does Corporate Social Responsibility look like?
Not only does FlexCareers want our community to feel a sense of belonging at work, we also want to feel their people can give back and an employer has a duty of care to do so. Nielsen runs a number of initiatives and programs throughout the year aimed at giving back to the community at large. Employees are encouraged to make an uncommon impact in the communities in which they work and live.
One such annual event is the Nielsen Global Impact Day where all Nielsen employees (worldwide) have the opportunity to give back through a range of volunteer activities. As such, to support employee involvement with these causes all permanent employees are eligible for 3 days of Volunteer Leave per the calendar year.
We are excited to welcome Nielsen to the FlexCareers family! You can find out more about our partnership, and the career paths and jobs on offer on our Nielsen employer page. What are you waiting for?
