FlexCareers Welcomes Nestle

October 24, 2017 by Emma McEnery Leave a Comment

Nestle - FlexCareers

We’re excited to announce today that Nestlé, the world’s largest food and beverage company, has joined our network of flexible employers. Welcome!

Nestlé has recently introduced How We Work, a program that empowers their employees to work flexibly. Their people know that their priorities – at home and work – can blend and blur on any given day, which is why they trust their people to make choices about when and where they get their job done so that they can better balance their work and personal commitments.

There are a number of ways their people are doing this. For some, it may mean working different hours on different days. For others, it may mean embracing new ways of connecting with others, such as teleworking to enable remote working.

Nestlé Oceania Director for Human Resources, Biplap Baksi, said “Providing greater flexibility in how, when and where our people work has allowed us to work smarter while remaining outcome focussed. This helps increase job satisfaction for our team and helps them bring their best to their work each day.”

Embracing flexibility is just one part of Nestlé’s workplace culture. Listening to what’s important to their employees through regular surveys provides the company with a better understanding of what matters most to its people and allows it to build a more inclusive workplace, for everyone.

“We know that embracing diversity and fostering inclusion benefits our people – and the people that enjoy our products. Reflecting the diversity of our consumers and communities with a diverse and inclusive workforce allows us to make more effective business decisions, and be more innovative and creative – crucial factors for success.”
