Community Advisory Board: Expressions of Interest

December 7, 2015 by FlexCareers Leave a Comment

We’re on a mission to change the way careers work. You can help us to understand how we can achieve this by being a member of our Community Advisory Board (CAB). We’re taking expressions of interest now.

FlexCareers will be celebrating our first birthday next week and what a year it has been. We have reached many milestones, walked through hundreds of corporate hallways and brought in some incredible women into our organisation. These successes mean nothing without you, our community, because its for you that we are passionately tacking the issues around flexible work and wanting to make a real difference.  As we plan the next phase of our growth we want to be listening to you, our community, every step of the way.

As such, in the coming year, we are putting together a Community Advisory Board, to meet quarterly starting this coming February, as soon as school goes back.

We want our CAB to help us with three things:

  1. Tell us what opportunity you would like us to explore as a business that expands our boundaries and promotes flexibility? At the end of the day, we are working for you
  2. Tell us what’s working and what’s not – the things you need us to improve
  3. Tell us what messages you want us to give to our corporate partners

Membership of our CAB is open to all FlexCareers community members nationally. Held quarterly, the first meeting will be in Sydney with members from other locations invited to participate via Skype. Future meetings will be held in other locations as part of our regular client visits to other capital cities.

We are seeking five members per board meeting with a diverse range of experiences in terms of their backgrounds, level of career, industry and location – people like us who are passionate about changing the way that careers work and levelling the playing field in corporate Australia. Imagine this position on your CV!

Please express your interest via FlexMatch on our website and include your (very) brief opinion on the three questions above – where do you want us to take the business, what can we be doing better, and what do you want us to pass on to our corporate partners.

Be a part of our journey as we change the way careers work. If you have any questions in this regard, please get in touch with us.

EOI close on 8th January 2016
